It went like…
\n“Where do you live?” he asked
\n“Yamaguchi!” I said<\/p>\n

Then the foreigner’s face went blank (\u25ceo\u25ce)<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Here,
\nI should have said “Japan”<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The foreigner was like
\n“Yamaguchi?” with a curious look on his face
\nI thought I’d give him a more general easy-to-understand answer
\nso I said “Kyuushuu”<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Then the foreigner’s face went blank (\u25ceo\u25ce)<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Here,
\nSaying “Kyuushuu” was a sad attempt at trying to be more general,
\nI should have been more general and said “Japan”<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Anyway, continuing on
\n“What do you do?” He asked<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

“Idol \u266a”
\nI said and then did a cute pose to try to convey that…<\/p>\n

In the end,
\nI just said “Dance \u266a”
\nand did some gestures and simple dance moves<\/p>\n

Then the foreigner was like…
