Continuing on with my voice training,
\nI also got to practice some table tennis today!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The world table tennis championships will be airing on TV Tokyo starting in May.
\nIt’s an important tournament that will determine participants for the Olympics!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

To be honest though… I don’t really know much about table tennis at all ><\n\n\n

 <\/p>\n

All I know is pretty much from elementary and middle school gym class.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

But back in January at the national stadium
\nI was able to watch the “All-Japan national championship”
\nand I started to find table tennis pretty interesting<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Personally, I’ve only ever dealt with sports like dodge ball or futsal…
\nwith big balls on big courts
\nso I always had the impression that table tennis was a really delicate sport<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

But! when I actually watched it, it was pretty intense<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Particularly in the men’s matches
\nI was so surprised like “I had no idea they could still hit the ball while being so far away from the table!”<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Also, apparently there’s only a specific time when the players are allowed to grab their towels
\nso until that time comes, they are playing while glowing in sweat<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Rallying back and forth on the table with such a small ball in table tennis…
\nit’s just so amazing
\nWatching the rallys just take your breath away<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

There’s still a lot I don’t know about the sport
\nbut I hope to continue learning about table tennis<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

With the world table tennis championships this time
\nthe players to look out for are Fukuhara Ai, Ishikawa Kasumi, Hirano Sayaka
\nand for the guys: Mizutani Jun, Kishikawa Seiya, and Matsudaira Kenta.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

It’ll be interesting to watch the players fight to represent Japan<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

It’s coming up soon so I hope all of you guys will watch ^^<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

By the way, regarding the 2011 world table tennis championship in Rotterdam
\nthat will be airing every day starting May 9th
\nWe will be starting the Tohoku earthquake victim support project called “WASURENAI 3.11”
\nthey also have opening a home page as well<\/p>\n

The Japanese table tennis association has set up a donation account
\nand will be working together with TV Tokyo
\n(TV Tokyo channel 6, May 9th ~ 15th)<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

They are aiming to provide long term support with this
\nso throughout the 2011 world table tennis championship
\nthe players will place the charity slogan “WASURENAI 3.11”
\non their uniforms as they play.
\nAfter the tournament, the donation account and website
\nis expected to continue working to accept support<\/p>\n
