Normally I do my training in the announcer department
\ninside a conference room within the company building <\/p>\n

But recently we had outdoor training!<\/p>\n

To practice giving a report.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

As we went along the street of our company building<\/p>\n

“Try giving a report on anything in this area”<\/p>\n

is what we did,
\nso we frantically looked for anything to talk about.<\/p>\n

I was reviewing how poorly I was able to describe the things I saw
\nin the previous outdoor training session
\nLike how big is this leaf, what shape is it, what color is it.
\nSo I started off by inspecting these plants.<\/p>\n

When I looked at it,
\nthere was a stick coming out in between the leaves
\nwith a sign that said “Yuzu (citrus) plant” <\/p>\n

Could this be something to talk about?
\nYou can’t really convey smells through a monitor
\nbut if I talked about the Yuzu smell maybe…<\/p>\n

So I began reporting<\/p>\n

“If you look carefully in the middle, there is a sign with Yuzu written on it.
\nNow if I take a sniff of it…”<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

“The yuzu smells like… ”<\/p>\n

It didn’t smell like anything<\/p>\n

Eh?? ;;<\/p>\n

I panicked a little inside. But obviously I wasn’t going to lie about it so
\n“Well it doesn’t smell like anything…” and I continued on ;;<\/p>\n

After I was done I realized
\nthat the Yuzu sign was referring to the tree behind the sign (> <)\n\nI was just sniffing leaves of plants in front of it.\nAnd of course, those did not have a smell to it.\n\nMy colleague Ueda...\n\n\"\"<\/p>\n

Even though it was really windy and slightly chilly,
\nshe gave a report on “How pleasant the weather is…”<\/p>\n

During that time, our lecturer Announcer Ishida
\nwas constantly making witty retorts at us…<\/p>\n
