After training the other day,
\nwe gathered around with our senpais for some ping pong!<\/p>\n

As to why we did..<\/p>\n

Well the story starts off with me in front of the cafeteria wondering what to do…<\/p>\n

The newcomers have to manage the phones during lunch
\n(although I still haven’t gotten the hang of it…)
\nso you can either go out and buy something and eat it at your desk
\nor if you’re in a hurry, just grab something from the cafeteria<\/p>\n

The menu for the cafeteria changes daily.<\/p>\n

So I was thinking
\n“If they have soba today, I’m gonna go get some”
\nso I went to check the menu
\nwhen I heard senpai announcer Masuda’s voice behind me<\/p>\n

“Hmm there’s a girl staring at the menu”
\nand when I thought about it, he meant me (lol)<\/p>\n

Masuda-san also likes soba
\nSo I said “It looks like there’s no soba on the menu today”
\nand he said “Well let’s go get some then!”…<\/p>\n

So we went back to the announcer department
\nand with the OK from our chief
\nhe took me to a delicious soba place near the office!<\/p>\n

My colleague Ueda and I, along the way, happened to meet up with Aiuchi-san
\non the first floor, so with Masuda-san, the 4 of us went.<\/p>\n

The soba there was so good!<\/p>\n

And also… Masuda-san treated us too.
\nThank you so much!<\/p>\n

Then, during lunch at the soba place
\nhe was like…
\n“We’re all doing some ping pong afterwards, come with”<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

So I did!!<\/p>\n

So, I like sports a lot
\nand aside from the horizontal bar,
\nother sports don’t really bother me<\/p>\n

but ping pong is hard…<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

This may be obvious but, the ball is so small! (lol)
\nI mean I’ve only played sports like futsal and dodgeball
\nwhere the ball is big you know…?<\/p>\n

But having watched the ping pong championship a few days before
\nand then trying it, it made me again realize how good the players are.<\/p>\n

Senpai announcer Saito was apparently in the ping pong club before
\nand he went all out on his serves. <\/p>\n

I mean everything was different, starting with his posture!
\nHe had his knees bent and was leaning forward
\nAnd then you look at me, standing straight up…<\/p>\n

I wasn’t really good at it, but it’s been a while since I worked out so it was fun!<\/p>\n

After working up a sweat in ping pong, we all went out to dinner afterwards.<\/p>\n

For dessert, I had chiffon cake which was great ^^<\/p>\n

Since my training that day was
\nusing my voice, sweating with some ping pong, and eating good food
\nI crashed to sleep quicker than normal that night<\/p>\n

I hope I can improve in ping pong to the point
\nwhere I can match up with everyone in a game<\/p>\n
