It’s 7\/13(In Japan) and if you’re here then there’s about a 75% chance you know that means it’s Michishige Sayumi’s birthday, or as I like to call it, SayuDay. For a lot of us not in Japan, that also means it’s kind of SayuWeekend, if you’re willingly extending your celebrations from the moment it becomes SayuDay in Japan until after SayuDay ends in your timezone. So let’s all take some time to celebrate!<\/p>\n
While some of you may know that Nantonaku as an entity started as a way to translate random H!P things and at the time we were all GakiFans, Nantonaku as it is now is sustained because of Sayu Blogs and all she does. I started translations after Sferris from Hyakupa didn’t have the time to do it, and I took over the charge cause I had the time and wanted to use it to keep my Japanese sharp. And since then we’ve become our own branch of the TKMR family providing blog translations whenever we can for Sayu, Gaki, and now Aika.<\/p>\n
To date (at least according to site statistics) we’ve had 7785 Entries in the “Sayu’s Blog” category for the site. At least 6000 of those were done since I had taken the reins, and it has been a pleasure. It hasn’t been easy, days when I’ve had to work on projects even though I’ve wanted to do Sayu translations, and days where I just felt like not looking at my screen for awhile but Sayu calls. But in all of that, it’s overall, truly been fun.<\/p>\n
And part of that joy goes to you the readers who have been enjoying them. We are Sayu fans, whether it’s because you think she’s cute or sexy or just plain awesome, we want Sayu to just be wonderful. And so, while we now face the oncoming known deadline known as the Sayupocolypse\/Sayu’s Momusu graduation, this even is not about that…not about anything but being happy for Sayu.<\/p>\n
And now I’m rambling so I’ll just say, thank you to everyone and everything: This site, you readers, and Michishige Sayumi for this amazing ride.<\/p>\n
