Sayumi, became Morning Musume。’s leader！！！

 

 

One year as Leader

 

Truly, this year has,

 

had all kinds of things

 

 

Since joining Morning Musume。, 10 years,

 

 

This one year, was the most,

 

 

amazing…

 

 

there has been so much stuff of all kinds that I can say it like that

 

 

Right when I became leader,

 

 

Seriously everyday I didn’t know what I shoulda done（lol）

 

Before becoming leader,

 

“I want to be leader”

 

I somehow said it so easily but,

 

Being called that, from all aorund me,

 

 

“Congratulations Leader”

 

 

when I was being given blessings,

 

It was a puzzling,

 

 

Sayumi who’s weak at singing and dancing,

 

Sayumi who thought if only I could it myself…

 

There’s no reason she’s fit for leader.

 

 

Besides, I couldn’t pull the group together well like generations of great seniors I’ve had before.

 

 

I was just thinking of all the negative things （lol）

 

 

As leader, I gotta keep firm！
pushing forward with just that feeling, into the emptiness, finally, I started to be told, “This isn’t like how Michishige use to be,”…

 

“Eh, then what？ Without thinking of the group, should I do whatever I want？”

 

I started to sulk…（lol）

around Sayumi’s birthday,

 

I got a mail from my gen-mate Tanaka Reina-chan,

 

 

“Let’s go have fun the 6th gen wayー”

 

She had written a long message with that kind of idea,

 

 

 

There I finally realized it ya know.

 

 

 

I should do what’s fun huh?！

No matter what I have to handle it well！
I need to copy the leaders we’ve had up until now！
