Today was an early startーー

 

 

And, it’s a day with all kinds of things～
I’ll do my best

 

 

 

And you know！

 

The day before yesterday,

 

 

The day of my second anniversary as leader,
before the Osaka concert performance

 

 

 

All my juniors went

 

 

 

“Michishige-san！

 

Congratulations on your second anniversary as leader！！”

 

 

and, they gave me a presentーーー

 

A candle turned into a tower of macarons

 

It’s superーsuperー cute

 

 

Everyone, thank youuuuu

 

It made me really happy！
The blogs impressed me too

 

 

 

And,
from all the staff that’s always helping us out.

 

 

They said, “Congratulations”

 

and gave me Madame Shinco’s～

 

（I’m sorry. It’s a picture of it half-eaten）

 

 

That day I had said,

 

 

“I want to buy and bring home Madame Shinco’sーー”

 

I had been saying that

 

 

But, I thought I probably couldn’t buy any and had given up so, it made me really very happy

 

 

Earlier Sayumi put it on her blog too

 

“I want to buy and bring home Madame Shinco’sー♪”

 

They had seen that I had written that and got it for me as a present

 

 

I feel the loveーー

With Big sis-chan, we at it while saying “Yummyーyummyー”

 

 

In Osaka, the Yantan staff brought refreshment snacks and came to see us too

 

 

 

 

Everyone who gave us other refreshments too, thank you so much

 

 

As a refreshment,

Everyone here taking in Sayumi’s story, words, her writing,

 

I’m a fortunate person huhーーー

 

 

I once again thought that.

 

 

 

Becoming leader,

 

 

When it was painful, not really being able to tell anymore but,
Finally being able to say something might be kind of a relief.

 

 

But, really thinking about it

 

 

“I can’t say”

 

 

isn’t really it,

 

 

“I didn’t say”

 

 

is more what I think it is.

 

 

For Sayumi,
everyone’s here to cushion her fall.

 

 

And so,
it’s not that I couldn’t say anything,
cause for Sayumi
there was a place she could！！！！

 

 

But, a leader shouldn’t sound weak, sticking to that up to now,
I didn’t say anything.

 

 

But, I’m glad I said something…

It took some time before I said it but…

 

 

Well now I feel like I’m enveloped in this amazing sense of security that’s why

Today was concerts in Osaka

 

 

It was a very hot, fun time～

 

 

Thank you for the lots of support

 

 

And,
I talked about it at the concert MC but…

 

 

Two years ago now, today,
On 5/18 I became leader of Morning Musume。.

 

 

Becoming leader of my beloved group made me happy but,

 

 

 

Since then everyday, it was liek I was buried in worry and pressure.

 

 

But, in the starting year, I had my gen-mate Reina next to me so,
while I had all kinds of worries, I somehow did it.

 

 

And, in this year since Reina’s graduated,
in this situation where I’m the only member who has been in Morning Musume。 for more than １０ years,
everyday, there’s continuous worry and pressure, so much it was like I’d vomit.

 

 

I could feeling my genmate’s blessings,

 

 

but, I couldn’t tell all that to anyone…

 

 

Honestly,

 

 

There were things I thought, “this is painful.”

 

 

 

But, at those times, unexpectedly, I’d look around me,
and my current 9 juniors were there

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

At first,

 

There’s just my adorable juniors

 

I had thought but,

 

 

At some point…

 

they steadily expressed reliability,

 

and now they are my totally reliable juniors （lol）

 

 

 

These juniors of mine and

 

 

Of course！

 

Since becoming leader, I’ve truly felt the reassurance from all the fans being here！！！

 

 

 

Sayumi,

 

 

 

 

believes in everyone.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

In this way having thse people I can have faith in, I felt like Sayumi can do her best.

 

 

For Sayumi,
Among these current members, all the staff providing us assistance,
and everyone supporting the current Morning Musume。,

 

being here as Morning Musume。’s leader,

 

 

I feel joy from the bottom of my heart.

 

 

 

Truly, thank you so very much

 

 

For today, getting to have a concert in Osaka on this day, my two year anniversary as leader, I was very happy

 

 

 

With the about half a year left till I graduate,
as leader of my beloved group, Morning Musume。
there’s still more I can do my best with！！
