Quick Question!

Hey Everyone Quick question!

Try Checking out things I’ve written for TKMR the past couple weeks (Nostalgia Trip, Late Night Rant) and let me know what you think about the ideas and my writing style. Would you care if that ended up on here? Or would you prefer the translations things (blogs, articles, subs, PVs, announcements, etc. if I can get to doing that stuff) stay here and stuff like that be on someplace else?

Let me know with this poll, cause that may help me figure out what’s gonna happen soon! (think positive)

  1. I have enjoyed the articles from TKMR but live for the translations here on Nantonaku Translations. I like the fact that I can come here for the majority of the translations I read. I like that Nantonaku Translations is about translations but I also read and watch TKMR. So in the end as long as I still get the translations I am happy.

  2. I have an honest question unrelated to your question.

I’m just wondering why you don’t translate for blog-project.net; is it something you don’t want to associate with? Or do you just like having your own place?

I’m not trying to diss you for not translating there. I was just curious as I thought blog-project.net was the only website translating H!P blogs, and when they suddenly stopped translating Sayu’s blog I was pretty upset.

Anyhow! I’m glad I found this site as I’m catching up on all her blog posts, and I just want to thank you!!

  3. Hey herropro, welcome to my little corner of the interwebs. It’s a really good question so I don’t mind, but I thank you for trying to make sure I’m not offended by it.

When blog-project had became a prominent source for blog translation I admired having the healthy competition not just as a motivator but it allows us to make sure someone has an alternative. I fully admit my translations do have a spin of creativity to make things sound both natural but also Japanese, and sometimes that makes things come out awkward. b-p was a healthy alternative for those who didn’t want that and/or if either of us make any mistakes there’s someone to cross reference. I didn’t realize that they had stopped Sayu Blogs, that’s unfortunate.

Oh, I also do like having my own site cause I put a lot of effort into making this amalgam of the Sayu&Gaki Ameblogs with a pinch of Gree in the design.

Plus! If anyone ever decides to want to join me in this slowly sinking ship (compared to how we started it kinda is ^^;) that is Nantonaku Translations, I wouldn’t mind teaching/expanding minds about how subbing/translations/karaoke PV can be done ^^;.

Hope that answers your question herropro, and hope you enjoy your reading…spread the word =P
